On December 15, 2023, three prominent companies in the surface coating industry, namely Protec Surface Technologies, a leader in the design and supply of PVD and PECVD coating systems for decorative and functional applications (particularly in the Security Printing market), Protim, a leading coating center in Italy and Europe for decorative applications, and Arzuffi, a leader in the design, construction, and sale of metallization and sputtering systems, are joining forces to create the major Italian hub in the PVD industry.
Thanks to the complementary nature of the companies’ businesses, the new group formed by Protec Surface Technologies, Protim, and Arzuffi aims to position itself as the European leader in machinery production and coating centers, creating a center of innovative excellence in the national and international vacuum coating technology landscape.
The entry of Arzuffi into the P&P group, acquired by Riello Investimenti Sgr for 60%, represents an expansion of the offering in terms of products and services, presenting a significant growth opportunity based on innovation and sharing of expertise across various market sectors where the Companies have been operating successfully for almost thirty years: plumbing fixtures, fashion accessories, costume jewelry, cutlery, automotive, cosmetics, home appliances, and many others.
